超常現象（ちょうじょうげんしょう、Paranormal Phenomena）とは、現在までの自然科学の知見では説明されない現象のことである「１」。

心霊

心霊（しんれい）は「神霊」とも書き、サブカルチャーの世界では、超常現象あるいは超能力の意味として用いられる。

もとは「精神」の意味で使われていた。1910年代の念写写真が「精神のなせる写真」という意味合いで心霊写真と呼ばれていたのだが、

その後見世物として幽霊トリック写真が流行したした際、この言葉が広く使われ、心霊＝幽霊という意味合いが定着した。

＊　２００２年ニュートリノ（素粒子）検出で、ノーベル賞を受賞した、小柴昌俊氏は、素粒子＝幽子としている。
