まえがき

これは、日本語のある程度包括的な部分に対して、ディブィドソン型の形式

意味論を与える試みの中間報告である。この報告においては、もっぱら名詞

句と量化との関係が扱われている。日本語意味論のもうひとつの柱である、

動詞句の意味論についてまとめることは、別の機会に譲る。

　名詞句の意味論に対する私のアプローチは、少なくとも二十世紀哲学史の

観点からは、きわめてオーソドックスなものではないかと自負している。な

ぜならば、それは、名詞を量化表現とみなす点で、二十世紀初頭にラッセルー

「表示についてOh Demoting」(1905年)―によって開かれた伝統を引き継

ぎ、さらに、量化表現の意味論を与えるのに、一九三〇年代のタルスキのや

り方―「形式化された言語においる真理概念　Der Wahrheitsbegriff in den

Formalisierten Sprachen」(1935年)―をほとんどそのまま用いる点におい

て、「保守的」とさえ言えるからである。

　以下の報告は、1999年12月から2000年2月までの三ヶ月という、ごく短

期間でまとめられたものである。それゆえ、先行研究との比較を十分に行う

余裕はなかったが、たぶん、つぎの三点が、ここでのアプローチの主だった

特色だと言ってよいだろう。

３、哲学とは、「魂から心に送られて来る言葉の知恵」が基本土台であり、「魂」の「存在」を「否定」して、理解できない「ソクラテスの言葉」
"Wisdom of the language sent to the heart from a soul" of philosophy is a basic foundation -- "existence" of a "soul" -- "the words of "Socrates who cannot deny, " do and understand"

４、 ソクラテスの言葉「人は魂について何を知っているのか、魂こそ「不死」「不滅」であり、大切なのは「魂」への心配り」
Souls are just "non-death" and "immortality" about what Socrates's language "person knows about the soul -- important one -- "consideration to the soul ""

５、哲学の研究こそ、「哲学の起源」である、ソクラテスが発見した「魂」を、研究する「義務」がある（哲学定義）

とされる形式的装置は、最小限でよい。すなわち、追加され
