One of my friends in Germany wrote to me about broadcasting of Mattheus
Passion on 14 April. That's a geat news. She promised to record it for
me.
She also wrote to me about the Open Day House as follows:
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
25.02. We were invited to visit the ballet center, they opened it from
14.00 to 17.30h !
And it was fantastic !
We had the possibility to visit the training of the company and the school!
I went to the rehearsal from Joelle and Ivan doing a Midnight summer dream !
I was nearly 2 hours there!!!!!!!
Joelle told me, it was their first rehearsal since one year! Wow !
And it was so special for me ! Cause we are just staying so close to them !
And for me it was just an experience to watch them doing the pas-de-deux!!
After them , I went down to the rehearsal of Jewels ! Patricia Neary was there for gteachingh Rubies !!
And Helene was an absolutely fantastic Rub !
She is like a Jewel !

Thanks, U.
I am also happy that you really enjoyed them.

Ms. Silvia Poletti contributed to "Let's Talk(BBS)" about the
Cagliari tour of Hamburg Ballet as follows:
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Sorry for my delay in reporting the terrific success of HB in Cagliari,
Sardinia, Italy, during the season of 7 performances of R&J. All the
company was absolutely outstanding and so lively and 'true' that the drama
seemed to develop naturally as the response of immediate facts and reactions.
Silvia Azzoni absolutely marvellous: a sublime Juliet, so tiny she is so
great she appears on the stage. I loved also the different, fresh Juliet
of Helene Bouchet, with Thiago Bordin as her young and bold Romeo. In so
a different way Ivan Urban and Carsten Jung were a wild 'Prince of Cats
Tybalt' but Sacha Riabko literally stole the show with his Mercutio's death.
It was so powerful and dramatic, and moving that public was overwhelmed
and nobody (more or less) stood up from his own seat during the following
intermission. Everyone wanted to stay and continue feeling the strong emotions.
Massimo Murru, guest of HB, with complete devotion put himself in Neumeier's
hands to create Romeo. A sensitive dancer, he grow performance after perfomance.
I hear Neumeier was satisfied by his way to work. A wonderful tour to Sardinia,
indeed, against all the strikes and bad weather Italy reserved me in those
days.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
And she also told the following site where her review is contributed with
beautiful photos of Silvia Azzoni and Massimo Murru.

I would like to say "Many thanks to Silvia !" to both Silvia
about wonderful photos and postings.
Seven performances ! I wonder how many persons who went to the theater every day there were except for Ms. Silvia Poletti.
Anyway, how lucky the audience there were ! I am sure they must
have been deeply touched according to her report.

Have you watched ( and listen to ) the New Year's Concert of the Vienna
Philharmonic on TV?
Ballet pieces choreographed by John Neumeier were fascinating. In my regret,
there was no credits about dancers. They were superb. I write down about
that.
